Making Musket Balls
Cooking in the Kitchen of the Fortified Homestead
Blacksmith
Fort Klock's opening day was on May 20 this year. It was a beautiful day for visitors to come and view time-honored skills passed through generations. Visitors saw how they brewed beer, made candles, and watched as they made baked goods from the beehive oven.
Visitors also got to witness cannon firing throughout the day.
Tours of the homestead were given on the hour by our tour guide and president, Les Stewart.
There is also a trade room gift shop with items, gifts, books, and Mohawk Valley maps for sale.
