Young Pioneer Program Update at Fort Klock!

We’re excited to announce that Fort Klock Historic Restoration is expanding our Young Pioneer Program this season!

To allow more youth to participate, we are now offering two age groups:

Ages 8–12 – Young Pioneers

Ages 13–16 – Senior Young Pioneers (NEW!)

Participants will experience hands-on colonial life activities, learn historic skills, and help bring history to life at the fort.

Spaces are limited for each age group, so be sure to register early!

The kids will experience frontier life, learn colonial skills, dress in period costumes, and HAVE FUN colonial style at this 3-day event.

Some hands-on activities include blacksmithing, cooking over an open fire, spinning, weaving, threshing wheat, making candles and ropes, woodworking, leatherworking, textile making, gardening, and more!

This program will also include crafts and games that children would have played in the late 1700s.
